Future Housing Sites For Hucknall? Your Comments Please…

Image: Shlaa MapOn Monday 10th November Ashfield District Council published the draft results of the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) for the four wards of Hucknall.

Over the last six months the Council has assessed 78 sites, to judge whether they might be suitable for future housing development. We are now seeking your views on the draft assessment results, during a period of public consultation lasting until Monday 8th December.

Dame Kelly Holmes was joined by hundreds of fans as she officially opened Ashfield’s new Lammas Leisure Centre in Sutton-in-Ashfield on Saturday.

The double Olympic champion cut the ribbon alongside Chairman of the Council, Cllr. Mrs May Barsby and Council Leader, Cllr. Jason Zadrozny.
