Paying Council Tax by Direct Debit

||
Paying your Council Tax by Direct Debit couldn't be easier.

With Direct Debit, your Council Tax bill can be spread over 10 months from April. The monthly amounts are automatically deducted from your bank account on a date agreed by you. We offer a choice of three dates in the month to pay, to suit your budget.

Direct Debit takes a laid back approach to paying bills. It beats running around in circles and allows you to decide when to pay.

The Guarantee includes your right to cancel at any time and an immediate refund if your bank or the Council make a mistake.

How to apply for Direct Debit

Simply download the Direct Debit instruction, print it out, fill in your details and return to:

Revenue Services
Ashfield District Council
Council Offices
Urban Road
Kirkby-in-Ashfield
Nottinghamshire
NG17 8DA

You can also apply to pay by Direct Debit over the telephone. Call us on (01623) 457400 and have your bank details ready.

Once we have received your instruction, we will make arrangements with your bank and send you a revised Council Tax bill. The first monthly payment under the Direct Debit plan will be at least 14 days after we send you the bill.
