A 'Zoo' is defined as an establishment where wild animals are kept for exhibition to the public otherwise than for purposes of a circus or in a pet shop. The Act applies to any zoo to which members of the public have access, with or without charge for admission, on more than seven days in a period of 12 consecutive months.
To apply for a Zoo Licence you should contact us to discuss your requirements. There will be a fee attached to this application.

If you have not heard from Ashfield District Council within a reasonable period, please contact us.
