||After a consultation period from February to April 2009, the Study entitled 'Towards a Sustainable Energy Policy for Nottinghamshire' concluded with the publication of a Sustainable Energy Policy Framework document in November 2009. The Policy Framework (which has an Executive Summary) aims to inform local development planning by evidencing the case for higher energy performance standards for new development across Ashfield and Nottinghamshire. The Study was co-ordinated by Nottinghamshire County Council on behalf of the Nottinghamshire Sustainable Energy Planning Partnership (NSEPP) made up of all the Nottinghamshire Districts and the City of Nottingham Council.
A separate Report of Consultation summarises the views expressed at the consultation seminar in February 2009 and the written comments subsequently received in the consultation period; and it sets out the responses of NSEPP which led to changes incorporated into the final Policy Framework.
