The Adopted Statement of Community Involvement
Ashfield District Council adopted its first SCI in November 2006. Since its adoption, the Government issued new regulations (2008) and related policy guidance that has changed the way in which Local Development Framework documents should be prepared. In light of this, a revised SCI has been prepared. The original SCI has now been archived and is available from the archived documents web page.
Any person aggrieved by the revised Statement of Community Involvement may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for a judicial review of the decision to adopt the document. Any such application must be made promptly and in any event no later than 28th January 2010 (3 months after the date on which the Revised SCI was adopted).
