How can I view the documentation of applications prior to 2008?

There are 4 ways in which you can view this documentation.

1. Vist the main council offices on Urban Road in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

Please contact the Development Advice and Control Section to arrange access to the documentation.  Depending on the size of the application you wish to view we request 2-3 days in order for the department to desensitise the file of any personal details.

2.  Should you wish to receive documents electronically.

 If you only require certain information, for example the approved plans these can be emailed.  Please contact the Planning Admin team via email planning.admin@ashfield-dc.gov.uk stating the application reference number and the copies of documents you wish emailing.  Please ensure your email address, planning application reference and the documents you request are clearly stated in the email.

3. Should you wish to receive paper documents.

If you only require certain information, for example the approved plans these can be posted.  Please contact the Planning Admin team via email planning.admin@ashfield-dc.gov.uk stating the application reference number and the copies of documents you wish emailing.  Please ensure your email address, planning application reference and the documents you request are clearly stated in the email.

4.  Submit a formal Freedom of Information request.
