Planning application fees are set by the government and are the same across all local authorities in England.

The cost of the actual planning application will depend on the type of planning permission you are applying for. You also need to bear in mind that building control approval may be required, depending on what you are planning to do.

Building Control fees

Ordnance Survey prints are required for Planning and Building Control applications and can be supplied by Ashfield District Council. The price depends on the number of copies required:

• Two copies are required with a Building Control application
• Three copies are required with a Planning application, and
• Five copies are required with a combined application.
