The aim is to develop a diverse range of arts activities and events to meet the needs of local people and visitors to the area.

We are committed to working with a range of external partners on projects which contribute to the general well-being of residents.

An example of this is the Gently Moving project which is a video resource pack developed by Ashfield District Council and Dance 4 to promote and support creative movement with older people.

Events – What's On in the Arts!

Forthcoming events within the Ashfield area are advertised on the Ashfield District Council online events calendar.

Other Nottinghamshire Arts events can be found in the Nottinghamshire County Council What's On Guide.

Further information about annual events and festivals can be found in the left hand menu.
